This MWC Ltd Edition Classic Aviator watch is part of MWC's classic WW2-pattern Pilot watch collection.
The Classic Aviator range is based on military designs from the 1940s and 1950s. Some models feature a subsidiary dial for the second hand, a common design element in the 1940s, while others, like this one, have a sweep second hand, which became more prevalent from around 1943 onward. These options allow you to choose a design that fits your personal style.
With a case diameter of 46mm (excluding the crown), this timepiece makes a strong statement and frequently attracts favorable attention, especially from other watch enthusiasts. The large dial size ensures that it is easy to read both day and night, just like the original WWII pilot watches.
This model is powered by a traditional automatic 24-jewel NH35A mechanical movement, visible through the clear caseback, and offers a 41-hour power reserve when fully wound.

Why choose sapphire crystal?
Sapphire crystal is the superior material for watch crystals due to its exceptional strength, shatter resistance, and scratch resistance. These characteristics make it a top choice for military personnel, security officers, police officers, and active outdoor enthusiasts—groups that make up over 70% of our customers. Compared to mineral glass, sapphire provides far greater protection, and even our hardened mineral crystals do not match sapphire’s durability. The reason for its strength lies in the heat-treatment process that removes internal stresses, making the material even more robust. Two layers of anti-reflective coating are applied to enhance visibility. Though sapphire crystals come at a premium, they are typically found in higher-end watches and are now also used in the latest iPhone models for their durability.
