This automatic self-winding classic 1940s-style MWC military watch is inspired by the designs used by British forces from 1938 through WWII. It serves as a precursor to the Dirty Dozen and retains the acrylic crystal of the original models. However, the traditional hand-winding mechanical movement has been upgraded to a self-winding automatic that can also be manually wound if required. This update ensures the watch maintains its authentic appearance while incorporating modern enhancements for everyday use.

Historical Significance

The second-to-last image displays the original 12 Dirty Dozen watches, manufactured by Buren, Cyma, Eterna, Grana, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Lemania, Longines, IWC, Omega, Record, Timor, and Vertex. While this watch predates the Dirty Dozen, it was their direct predecessor.

MWC did not manufacture watches during WWII, as the company was founded in 1974, but this model is crafted in the spirit of the originals.

The final image was sent by military watch enthusiasts, requesting a cream-dial version of the ATP watch. Originally, 20 ATP variants existed, and they are distinctive because Swiss manufacturers at the time sold black-dialed watches to the Germans and cream-dialed watches to the British. This model has already gained popularity among collectors seeking something unique yet historically inspired.
