This particular watch originates from a military surplus clearance, acquired alongside other watches previously issued to or owned by military personnel.

We source these pieces from defence auctions and official disposal sales. In many cases, there is no significant fault, however they are sold on the assumption that a minor issue may be present. To keep costs low, our service teams (both in the UK and internationally) carry out only a brief inspection rather than a full overhaul.

The design is based on the 1980 UK MOD specification for automatic divers’ watches (DEF STAN 66-4 Part 1, Issue 3), which required:
