Condition:
New ex-display watch with the protective plastic film still fitted to the crystal and other surfaces. Other than some labels and minor marks on the outer box from when the watch was sent to a trade show, the watch itself is in excellent condition and effectively as new.
Issue:
The watch is currently not running and will most likely only require a replacement battery. It was returned from a trade show in South Korea in 2022 and appears to have been inadvertently overlooked at our packing and shipping centre.

This GMT dual time zone watch in a stainless steel finish is one of MWC's current GMT models. It features a high-performance quartz Ronda 515.24 movement housed in a robust 100m / 330ft water-resistant steel case, making the watch suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
The concept behind GMT watches is remarkably simple yet extremely practical. On a conventional watch, the hour hand travels around the dial once every 12 hours. To create a GMT watch, a second hour hand is added which operates on a 24-hour scale.
Using a GMT watch could not be easier because the 24-hour hand circles the dial once per day instead of twice like a conventional hour hand. Its tip indicates the corresponding hour on the 24-hour scale, eliminating any confusion between a.m. and p.m.
MWC initially produced these watches for airline and naval pilots because they enable the wearer to track two different time zones simultaneously. Because this model uses a quartz movement, it is ideal for anyone seeking a reliable, low-maintenance watch, particularly frequent travellers or those regularly operating across multiple time zones.
The GMT watch is a variant of the 100m G10 general service watches and is extremely rugged, designed to withstand demanding conditions. The caseback bears various contract markings together with a unique serial number.
