This automatic, self-winding WWII-pattern Siegerin military watch is closely based on the designs supplied to the Kriegsmarine (German Navy) during the Second World War. Featuring a subsidiary seconds dial, cream dial, and period-correct acrylic crystal, it faithfully reflects the distinctive naval watches of the era.
A defining feature of Kriegsmarine watches was the “K.M.” marking on the dial, denoting naval issue. Unlike most German military watches—typically fitted with black dials—Kriegsmarine models were produced with light-coloured dials in cream or white, improving legibility in maritime conditions. This model follows that specification precisely.
Historically Accurate, Sensibly Updated
This modern recreation closely follows one of Siegerin’s original WWII designs. While genuine wartime examples are now rare and command high prices, this watch is outwardly almost indistinguishable from the factory originals and retains the vintage acrylic (plexiglass) crystal used during the period.
Internally, the original 15-jewel hand-wound movement has been upgraded to a 21-jewel self-winding automatic, which can also be manually wound if required. This allows the watch to retain its historic appearance while offering improved reliability and convenience for everyday wear.
Wartime Provenance
During WWII, Siegerin—alongside Selza—was one of the leading suppliers of watches to the Kriegsmarine. Both companies also produced timepieces for the Luftwaffe, Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers), and Flak (anti-aircraft) units.
While British military collectors often focus on the well-defined “Dirty Dozen,” German military watches were produced by over 100 different manufacturers, making them particularly challenging—and rewarding—to collect.

This model features a solid 316L military-grade stainless steel case, hacking seconds, luminous markings, and a cream dial that closely matches original wartime examples.
