MIL-W-46374C Pattern Military Watch

Upgraded All-Metal Construction | Authentic 1980s Design

This watch is based on the MIL-W-46374C U.S. military specification first issued on April 15th, 1983. The original models are now extremely rare, but this modern version is visually almost identical to those issued in the mid-1980s. While the originals featured plastic cases, this model has been upgraded to full metal construction for greatly improved durability and longevity.

Available in olive drab or matte black, each watch is supplied on a U.S. pattern military webbing strap identical in style to those fitted to the original issue pieces. With dimensions of 39mm x 40mm, it remains faithful to the 1980s size—comfortably fitting modern wrists while retaining its authentic field-watch proportions.

This generation of watches marked the transition from the smaller designs of the 1960s and ‘70s to the more robust military timepieces we recognize today. Many modern tactical watches, including those from brands like Traser, still echo the design cues established by these 1980s models. An original 1985 example is shown in the final image for comparison.
