Understanding GMT Watches
GMT watches are ingeniously designed—not because they are complex, but because they utilize a simple and effective mechanism. Unlike a conventional watch, where the hour hand completes a full cycle every 12 hours, a GMT watch adds a second hour hand that completes a full rotation in 24 hours. This additional hand, combined with a 24-hour scale on the bezel, allows the wearer to track time in two different time zones.
