This 300m (1000ft) water-resistant diver’s watch is a modern reissue of a classic MWC design first produced between the early 1990s and 2004. Among all dial variants produced during that period, the 1999–2001 pattern remains a standout for its clean, highly legible layout and exceptional nighttime visibility.
The new version faithfully retains this original dial pattern, including the historic encircled “T” marking, now using Super Luminova instead of tritium for improved safety and luminosity.
PVD Case Finish
The black PVD steel case is engineered for durability and discretion. PVD coating (Physical Vapour Deposition) is used in military contracts for Special Forces and covert operations due to its resilience and non-reflective properties. Unlike paint or surface coatings, the PVD process alters the metal’s surface at a molecular level, making it vastly superior to painted finishes that can chip or fade over time.

A few years back, an MWC distributor in Australia discovered 500 untouched watches from 1999–2001 in storage — an unexpected find that reignited interest in this design. All those watches quickly sold out, inspiring MWC to remake the model with modern upgrades while preserving the heritage look and feel.
