They are both brand new, and in perfect condition but the strap might show signs of having been tried on, and the packaging might be slightly soiled but both have a full 24 month guarantee from the manufacturer.

A Precise Tribute to a Rare Luftwaffe Classic

This self-winding automatic watch is a faithful recreation of the WW2-era military watches issued by the German Luftwaffe, originally designed for flight personnel under the authority of the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM / German Air Ministry). These timepieces were not personal issue items—instead, they were assigned mission by mission and returned to the quartermaster after each flight.

Authentic Design with Modern Reliability

Closely modeled after one of Aeschbach’s original wartime watches, this modern reissue captures the look and feel of the rare originals—right down to the black dial, subsidiary seconds display, and acrylic crystal. However, the internal mechanics have been discreetly modernized with a 21-jewel automatic movement, replacing the original 15-jewel hand-wound versions. It can also be manually wound, giving you the best of both worlds.

Original WW2 German military watches were made by over 100 different suppliers, including both Swiss and German manufacturers. While British watch collectors often seek the famed “Dirty Dozen,” the German equivalents are equally historic—yet harder to collect due to their diversity and limited surviving examples.

Aeschbach, founded in 1923, is one of the few original manufacturers still active today, and this model stands as a genuine tribute to their military legacy.
