This is a vintage WWII Doxa military GSTP (General Service Timepiece) pocket watch. The watch features a stem-winding movement that runs well and keeps time excellently, within 60 to 90 seconds over a 24-hour period. The jeweled movement is stamped with "Doxa" and "Swiss made."
The watch measures 51.8mm in diameter. The case is plated and shows wear and surface markings, mainly on the back, which is common for a WWII pocket watch.
The crystal is actual glass, not plexiglass, and is in sound condition, as seen in the images. The dial is signed "Doxa" with "Swiss made" at the bottom. The watch retains its original steel hands.
