These naval-issue watches generally featured light-colored dials, either cream or white, in contrast to the black dials used by other divisions of the German military.
This model is a faithful reproduction of a WW2-era Siegerin design. While original wartime pieces are rare and often command high prices, this modern version is visually almost indistinguishable from the original factory models. It retains features like the acrylic crystal but improves upon the original 15-jewel hand-winding movement with a 21-jewel automatic movement, which also supports manual winding. The result is a timepiece that maintains vintage authenticity while offering discreet, modern upgrades for daily use.
During WW2, Siegerin and Selza were two of the primary suppliers of watches to the Kriegsmarine. Both also produced models for other branches such as the Luftwaffe, Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers), and Flak (anti-aircraft units).
