WW2 Pattern Siegerin Kriegsmarine Military Watch – Automatic Self-Winding*
This automatic, self-winding classic WW2-pattern Siegerin military watch—with its subsidiary seconds dial—is inspired by the iconic designs issued to the German Kriegsmarine (Navy) during World War II. A key detail typical of all watches supplied to this branch was the inclusion of “K.M.” (short for Kriegsmarine) on the dial. These naval-issue watches generally featured light-colored dials, either cream or white, in contrast to the black dials used by other divisions of the German military.
This model is a faithful reproduction of a WW2-era Siegerin design. While original wartime pieces are rare and often command high prices, this modern version is visually almost indistinguishable from the original factory models. It retains features like the acrylic crystal but improves upon the original 15-jewel hand-winding movement with a 21-jewel automatic movement, which also supports manual winding. The result is a timepiece that maintains vintage authenticity while offering discreet, modern upgrades for daily use.
During WW2, Siegerin and Selza were two of the primary suppliers of watches to the Kriegsmarine. Both also produced models for other branches such as the Luftwaffe, Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers), and Flak (anti-aircraft units). At the time, over 100 different manufacturers supplied military watches to Germany, making collecting these models a complex and fascinating pursuit—unlike the more standardized “Dirty Dozen” issued to British forces.

They’ve done an impressive job, but if anyone has information to fill in the remaining gaps, I’m sure contributions would be welcome.
